What has your life experience taught you
about trying at something? Perhaps you wanted to do something but never
tried for the fear of failure or you have conditioned yourself to keep a
low profile to avoid failure. Whatever be, every experience in life will
either be a stepping stone or be a tombstone. It’s your choice!
We all make mistakes in our lives when we’re trying to accomplish
something. Ever watched a baby learning to walk? The baby will keep
trying and trying, even after faltering over and over until he/she gets
it right and takes his/her first steps. Trying to achieve anything might
be like baby steps at first, but doing nothing will get us nothing.
Many people allow failure to paralise them and to prevent them from
trying further. Does failure mean we should give up? No! It simply means
we should try harder and differently. From failure we learn to grow and
transform ourselves into wonderful reflections of the beautiful creation
we are.
Michael Jordon was removed from the high school basketball team because
of his lack of skill. But with his untiring efforts, he rose to be the
greatest basketball player of all time and he acknowledges, “I’ve failed
over and over and over again in my life and that is why I succeed.”
Virtually nothing comes out right at the first time. The only time you
don’t want to fail is the last time you try something. Life is steeped
with ups and downs. Don’t be afraid to lift your wings and soar through
life each day!
