? Mature is he/she who knows life is too short to be wasted in prejudice,
intolerance, hatred and revenge.
? Mature is he/she who has capacity to face disappointments and adversity
without becoming bitter.
? Mature is he/she who has the humility to say, “I was wrong” and the
self-control not to say, “I told you so” when he/she is proved right.
? Mature is he/she who does not complain that the rose bush has thorns but
rejoices that it bears roses.
? Mature is he/she whose deeds conform to his/her thoughts and words.
? Mature is he/she who lives in present without being shackled by the dead
past or the unborn future.
? Mature is he/she who strives to change things which he/she can and who
lives in peace with things he/she cannot.
? Mature is he/she who gently and constantly questions himself/herself, “Am
