SUGAR & SPICE
An Employee Comments
An employee of an industrial group comments:
“If you are late in the morning, you are a bad
example. If you are on time, you are a watchdog.
If you are friendly to your confreres, you are
slimming it. If you are reserved, you are snob.
If you are concerned with your staff’s work, you
are snooping. If you don’t, you don’t know
what’s going on. If you hand out a praise, you
are a flatterer. If you work overtime, you are
pretending to be busy. If you place blame, you
are a slanderer. If you leave work on time, you
are not interested in the company. If you are
older, you are over the hill. If you are
younger, you are in experienced!

Ä We like the fellow
who comes right out and says he/she agrees with
us.
Ä Common sense would avoid many divorces
and also quite marriages.
Ä Many politicians are for and against an
issue and they don’t care who knows it.
Ä An idea may be dressed in attractive
words and still be stupid.
Ä It is very difficult for some people to
keep quiet when they have nothing to say.
Ä If we learn by doing things, a lot of
people are going to keep on being ignorant.
